People have journaled for centuries because it works: looking back to see your patterns, looking forward to what you want. Clarity, better decisions, a life examined rather than skimmed.
Journoo is journaling with superhuman memory. It remembers your people, goals, values, and entries, then follows up with insightful questions and proactive suggestions. The more you put in, the sharper it gets. Journoo allows you to gather your thoughts in a way that creates value rather than being a disorganized mess.
Reflect
You never need to face a blank page (unless you choose to). Each time you open Journoo, you have threads to follow, drawn from your past entries. Type, or just talk. Each entry feels like a conversation with a thoughtful friend asking questions only they would know.
Over time your entries become more than a record: recurring patterns, emotions, the things you circle without noticing, all become visible from outside your own head. And if you love paper, keep the ritual. Photograph a handwritten page and it becomes a searchable entry like any other.
Connect
The people who matter to you tend to get written about, and Journoo pays attention. It remembers who keeps showing up, what you said about the last hard conversation, and how a relationship has actually been trending across months rather to add relative context to how last night felt.
When you sit down to process a difficult moment you had with someone, Journoo brings the history with it, so you’re thinking with the full picture instead of the freshest wound.
Grow
When what you’re doing drifts from what you said you wanted, it provides some accountability. But it’s not a nanny and will still let you wander off your path.
And progress never appears as a bar or a percentage, because that’s not how it happens. Progress shows up in your own words and Journoo automatically tracks your effort.
What we won’t do
We won’t profit from your attention. Our metric is your progress, not your time in app. A good session ends with value, and we don’t need to gamify journaling.
We won’t read, train on, or sell your words. Entries are encrypted with your own encryption key. They’re never used to train AI, never shown to advertisers, and there are no ads anywhere in Journoo.
We won’t guilt you. Journoo let’s you fix your streak. Miss a day or a week, you can mend it by writing, anytime—or switch streaks off entirely. Effort is what counts, not check boxes.
We won’t lock you in. Your journal exports free, forever, the day you want to leave. If you stay, we want it to be for the value you get.
We won’t pretend to be therapy. Journoo works alongside professional care, never instead of it.
From Blake
I started journaling nearly every day on May 10, 2019 and my life has gotten immeasurably better. Journaling, alongside meditation, is how I keep my attention focused, and it taught me the belief this company is built on: attention is our most valuable asset. Taking that seriously reshaped my life. I left social media, started my own business, and became deliberate about my personal mission spending time learning things and helping people.

Starting my last company required thousands of hours of time and brought in zero income for the first two years. I made a commitment to myself in my journal to never quit. Just keep delivering value, things will work out. It worked out very well, and journaling helped me stay focused. Eventually it grew not only to be profitable, but also only required about an hour of work each month! I felt like I won the lottery.
Then came the surprise: I found working so little to be a surprisingly empty experience. During that two year sabbatical my time was generally well spent on family, learning, and growth, however it was journaling, again, that showed me what I actually wanted: to build something with a positive impact far beyond me. That’s Journoo.
Looking back and anything in my journal, even something mundane, often feels like serendipity. Journoo was designed to produce that feeling. The right memory, the right question, at the right time. I believe we’ve made something different, as good or better than any other journaling app.
I do my best to run the company on the values most important to me: responsibility, integrity, honesty, family, forgiveness, faith, courage, humility, gratitude, service. I hope you feel these coming through as you use Journoo.
Have a great day!
